The quality and tradition of a classic

1. Poured polyurethane Thermal-Break frame and sash saves energy and reduces condensation.
2. Strong, stable, rigid .050 aluminum is more resistant to frame and sash deformation caused by climatic changes.
3. Sloped sill deflects water run off to the exterior of the home.
4. 3/4" insulated glass protected by a wrap-around (marine style) glazing provides a "warm edge" thermally efficient seal between the glass and frame.
5 & 6. Overlapping interlocking sash and sill ensure a tight weather seal.

Replacement windows

Looking for a classic window design? Consider the traditional style of the Midwest replacement single hung (S-3000), double hung (S-3010) and slider (S-4000) windows. These windows can be combined with the Midwest picture windows, half-rounds or geometrics (S-3000). They are crafted for today’s architecture with a flavor of yesterday’s memories.

All Midwest Thermal-Break window products are available in custom sizes for replacement, without nail fin. Optional receptor system, panning system, tube and angle stop are available, color matched to the window.

Easy sash removal

Side loading sash

Flip up take-out clip located on each side of the sash track near the top of the window. Raise the sash over the take-out clips.
Push the sash to the side into either the right or left track of the jamb, allowing the other side of the sash to clear the track in the opposite jamb. Remove the sash from that side.
